Musings No. 3

Processed with VSCO with a6 presetKind of forgot about this little series I started and then didn’t really know what to do with it. So I think I’m going to try doing this weekly or every other week depending on the number of posts I have for a week. I thought about adding it to Monday since I’ve just been doing the weekly inspiration posts then. But since I didn’t post anything Wednesday or Friday, I decided to post today. I’m not sure if it’ll stay on Saturdays or even have a set day. Honestly, I’m just winging it.

listening to: I’ve been listening to spotify a lot more lately, especially while doing homework, which is odd because music used to distract me when I studied but lately it’s helped me focus. top 3 songs currently: Love is Mystical by Cold War Kids, All We Ever Knew by The Head and the Heart, and Elephant Gun by Beirut

reading: I haven’t started it yet but The Woman in Cabin 10 is still on the top of my list

watching: Lately the shows I’ve been looking forward to are This is Us and How to get away with Murder. I’ve also been rewatching the office

trying: the newest product I’ve tried is the Clinique Take the Day off balm I really like it for face makeup, my eyes are pretty sensitive so I haven’t really used it to take off mascara. I just use baby oil to take off waterproof mascara and that’s been the easiest.

loving: For the last two weeks I’ve been using Kristin Ess’s new hair products from target. I’ll be honest, I definitely just tried it because I love her instagram but also she’s Lauren Conrad’s hair stylist and who doesn’t want hair like LC?! I’ve been using the leave in conditioner, the working serum, and the finishing spray. They’re THE best! I honestly want to try everything from her line now.

writing: I’ve been writing weekly for my school’s paper, recently I was put on the softball beat so I’ve been writing game recaps which has been super fun. Covered a double header last week, and away double header yesterday and another one today! Then again next week. It’s definitely filling the void baseball left! Also wrote my second post for Lone Star Ball last week.

wearing: I’ve been obsessed with the rings from the BaubleBar for Target collection. If you haven’t checked that out, it’s amazing!
