Adventures in Photography

I think I’ve mentioned before I’ve been learning to shoot in manual. Which was incredibly daunting and overwhelming at first. But once you get the hang of it, man is it fun!  I’m telling you, once you learn, your life changes forever. I don’t think that’s exaggerating either.

I’ve always loved taking pictures and prefer being behind the camera instead of in front of it, but even more so now that I know how to actually use my camera. I feel more inspired to take photos and want to take every opportunity I can get to just snap away.

My friend Alexis so kindly volunteered to take blog photos for me if I would teach her how to use manual mode. Honestly, if I thought learning manual was scary, teaching it is scarier. Scary fun. Talking about photography, only increased my love for it. Don’t be surprised if there are more posts on here that are purely photography based, with me behind the lens and not at all in front of it.
